Standard greetings, dear Patrons!

I have returned with a longish fic; it’s not terribly long, but it is a bit more substantial that the one to two chapter jobs I’ve been doing. The fic has a rather odd history, the summary claims that it is being rewritten ( in fact, that’s the entirety of the summary; just “IS BEING REWRITTEN DO NOT READ THIS ONE” written twice.) and there is a second fic with the same title that is very similar to this one, but the two fics diverge wildly from each other at many points. In my opinion, the second one is actually the worst of the pair and is barely readable.

Keep that in mind – this is the “good” version.

I don’t know why the author has chosen to leave the fic up rather than taking it down in favor of her newer version, but many things fic authors do puzzle the hell out of me.

The fic comes from the Ouran High School Host Club section of ff.net; if you aren’t familiar with the canon, don’t worry – this fic has very little connection to the source materials. It is what I call a “dollhouse” fic; there’s very little in the way of plot, the author just moves the characters around like they are nothing more than dolls.

A warning regarding possible triggers – there are increasingly frequent references to abuse (both verbal and physical) as the chapter progresses.
