Important Question for Our Patrons!

Hello, lovelies.

So we’ve been kicking around the idea of having a forum for The Library.  Mainly, it would serve as:

  • A place for off-topic chatter/conversations
  • It would replace the Suggestion Box, as the comment section there gets way too bogged down by suggested fic links and chatter
  • A place to contact specific Librarians to ask questions
  • It could also serve as a way to share good fics with one another, if we ever find any.

Since WordPress doesn’t have a forum widget, we would make it using an external host (such as ZetaBoards) and put the link with our pages so you can find it easily.

Please fill out this incredibly simple poll by next Wednesday to help us decide whether or not it would be worth it to set one up.  Thanks, everyone!

  1. I feel like I’m biased since I made the suggestion and am not sure if I should vote.

  2. By the way, there’s also the idea of Roleplaying on there.

It could also serve as a way to share good fics with one another, if we ever find any.

Did you just… burn every single Fanfiction author out there?

This is interesting timing with this poll. Just yesterday I was wishing that there was a forum for the library! So yeah–you can guess what my vote was.

One hundred percent for yes, so far. I approve. :3

Where will this forum be located and what will run it? Does WordPress have that functionality?

  6. Aww. I was hoping to get 30 votes, all of them on yes. Oh well.
