Kitty: Hello again, everyone! I’m Kitty, and once again I’ve decided to take a break from To Love Another Soul. This time it’s not because the story is driving me insane, though. No, this time the break was brought on when my time innocently scavenging about for a good Disney fic was brought to a screeching halt when I discovered the unforgivable: A Tarzan fic that stuffs Tarzan into clothes and turns his animal friends and family into humans, all so that they can be forced to endure the inhumane torture that is high school.

Yep, you heard that right: Try Something New by MiDnIgHtHoUr77 is a modern-day high school AU. About the Disney-fied story of a man who was raised by gorillas in the middle of the African jungle near the end of the Victorian era. And yes, that is pertinent information, because Tarzan was born to British parents and the first humans he encounters in the Disney movie are all citizens of the British Empire. Just keep that in mind as we go.
