Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Kwanzaa, and Joyless Festivus (I hope that covers everyone)!  I know it’s only the 24^th, but my family always has a big dinner (it’s really a buffet of delicious hors d’oeuvres) and opens gifts on the 24^th so that’s what I associate with holiday celebration.  Anyway, my gift to you is the very last chapter of the Dawn story.  I know you all wanted an iPad2, but I don’t have enough money to buy one for all of you, or really any of you.  So grab a cup of hot beverage of your choice and some cookies meant for Santa.

Hello again readers. I have to start this with an apology. I’m sorry this is so last minute. I had meant to write this earlier in the week, but I got distracted. You know how it is. And then Friday came along. I had the intention of writing in the afternoon, while the toddler watched My Neighbor Totoro. I started having some pain in my side and it was soon apparent that the kidney stone fairy was probably paying me one last visit before Christmas. Lucky me. So, I’ve been popping pain pills and hoping that I can pass this sucker rather than having to go languish at the ER for several hours.

Needless to say, my kidney stone adventures are probably more riveting tales than Dawn the Yawn’s adventures. But we only have two chapters left! Hurray! This chapter is called Rousseau’s Warning. This chapter starts with a plot dump to let us know that the raft has been finished and Claire has had her baby. Then Dawn lets us know that she’s still hanging out with Shannon and hasn’t gotten any loving from Sayid. Poor dear. Just as Dawn is getting ready to fall asleep, Rousseau shows up with a warning that the Others are coming to the beach.
