Good morning, fair readers!  I’m sorry for how I’ve been jumping update days as much as a fanfiction plot jumps logic, but my work schedule has changed and, where before it was easier for me to be ready by Tuesday, now it would be impossible.  So, here I am back on Saturdays!

Last time we met, we watched as Team Stu was sorted into (surprise!) Gryffindor house by a rather grumpy Sorting Hat that swears at children.  Jade-Harry-Sue has been a right prick to everyone but, naturally, they all love her.  There was a lot more instances of Harry-Sue and the author Ryu being all mushy faced with each other, I vomited about twelve times, and that’s really all that happened.  So, without further ado, I bring you the fifth chapter, simply titled “Back to School.”

Hello!  Sorry about last week but I needed the day off.  I’m back now, though, and ready to finish this chapter!  Let’s recap, shall we

Last time on SWR, Team Stu rode the Hogwarts Express.  Jade sat on the author’s Ryu’s lap the entire time.  Team Stu almost gutted Malfoy.  And that’s about it.  There really wasn’t anything exciting going on at all.  Part two of this chapter deals with the sorting process.  Naturally, since Team Stu is a year behind everyone else, they’re going to be sorted after the first years but, even though they’ve never done a lick of magic before, they’ll be stuck in with the second years because they’re twelve.  Logic!  Let’s get on with it, eh?

Salutations!  Last week we finished up the third chapter of the mind-boggling Naruto/Harry Potter cross-over known as SW:R.  Harry-Sue paid for everyone’s school things and punched Malfoy in the gut.  We discovered that Naruto and our author Ryu can also wield the powers of magic, even though there was never any indication that they are anything except for shinobi.  Also, there’s no mention of Number Eight Fruit Tree-sensei getting to learn magic, even though he’s supposed to be a jonin and you would think a jonin would be interested in furthering his ninja ability.  But, you know, this is a horrible cross-over fanfic written by a guy in love with a female version of Harry Potter, so… I guess you can’t put much stock into what’s written.

Chapter four is titled “Hogwarts Express and Sorting.”  Considering DKR’s ability to accurately title his chapters, I’m guessing we’re going to spend this section on the train before we watch the members of Team Stu get sorted into Gryffindor.  In any other fic, I’d make bets on the author spelling the house name incorrectly, but DKR does seem to be able to spell canon names.  It’s one of the few things he’s got going for him and, for that, I’m quite grateful.

That said, get your tickets ready!  The fail train is now boarding!

Okay, everyone!  Let’s get to the end of this chapter today, shall we?  Sorry to drag it out but my writing-time has been lessened lately and I’m going to have to continue working on this in smaller installments.

Last time on SW:R, Team Stu arrived at the Burrow in Harry Potter Land and met the Weasleys, which, according to the description we were given of the family, consists of two Molly Weasleys (I’m dubbing one Sybil to keep things easier) and twenty children, nineteen of them male and fifteen of those not important enough to name.  Harry-Sue is her ever-endearing self (read: Asshat McSuetard) and, for some odd reason, there’s a reference made to Iruka-sensei being the head of a secret society of wolf-gods that apparently isn’t that secret if three twelve-year-olds know about it.
