Well dear Patrons, it looks like we have finally made it to the end of Animagus Predator!

This last little bit is not quite as head-bashingly terrible as the previous segment, but it’s still pretty awful.

Very little of what occurs in the first three-fourths of this chapter trickles down this far, so I’m not going to do an extensive recap. Pretty much all you need to know is that Harry Stu owns three-fourths of Hogwarts’ buildings, half of its grounds, has a shit-ton of money and meaningless titles, and is some sort of super-powerful shapeshifter who has done very little actual shapeshifting.

There was a very long and meandering conference between Professor McGonagall and Harry Stu that began with her concerns about all the classes he had signed up for and ended with the professor excusing him from all further classwork, which was the opposite of what he wanted to begin with, followed by some mildly squicky hugging that I’d rather not dwell on before the two Apparated out of McGonagall’s office and went to dinner. (And just because it bears repeating, he is the Master of Death and owns a Jungle of Death that isn’t really a jungle but does contain every creature in existence and also a castle. Because every Stu needs a castle.)

My dear sweet Patrons, I am so very sorry. I had hoped to finish out The Animagus Predator today but after much thought and figurative hot-oil wrestling with myself I’ve decided to split the remaining portion in half. There is just a little too much to cover and I want to give the Jungle of Death the attention it deserves.

Oh, you’ll see. But first, the recap!

Harry Stu, who is the most Stu of all the Harrys, was goofing off during Transfiguration class because he’s a bored douchecanoe. Professor McGonagall asked him to stay afterwards for a little conference, but rather than kicking his ass out of her class she fawned over him like a fangirl. It is also revealed that the extremely bored Harry Stu, having learned everything in the world, has been signing up for extra classes, requested a Time Turner, and will be taking the NEWTs early - even though as a seventh year student would already be taking them that year anyway.

We left Harry Stu and the professor as the teacher-student conference went completely off the rails and he decided to reveal his vast inheritance to McGonagall, so that sounds like a good place to begin.

Welcome back, dearest Patrons! We’ve reached the middle of Chapter 3, the sweet creamy filling in this cookie of failure.

When last we left our “hero” he was showing off in class due to boredom and rather than immediately throw him out of her classroom, Professor McGonagall has asked Harry Stu to see her afterwards. I am hoping that she will give him the dressing-down he so richly deserves and send him packing, but she will probably give him a puppy that shits diamonds or something equally ridiculous.

Welcome, dear Patrons, to the start of Chapter 3, the fourth and final chapter of Animagus Predator. This chapter is absurdly long and will take at least three sessions to riff properly, possibly four depending on how much I can stomach. Yeah, I know – I’m not happy about it either.

Let’s see … what do we need to know from the previous chapters? Harry Stu is breaking all previous SuperStu records by becoming an Animagus, a Metamorphmagus, and something called an Animorphmagus that the author just invented. He has inherited :adopts Dr. Evil pose: one hundred billion Galleons! As well as six lordships, six seats on the Wizengamot with a total of nine votes, most of Hogwarts, half of the grounds, and a partridge in a pear tree. (Probably. I kind of dozed off near the end.)
