Art-tastic Thursday – Bambi

Bambi is apparently a popular topic for fanart… and a lot of it is really good.  There is, however, some really strange stuff out there.

For instance…

What the hell is happening here?  Anthropomorphic Bambi is fighting off… zombies?  Mummies?  Tree-men?  I have no idea what the hell is going on.

Also, I cannot find the original posting for this or the artist.  It links back to a site that no longer exists, although the picture itself is copyright from Deviant Art.  *shrug*
